NEIL FLAXMAN: I graduated from New York University then went on to law school at the University of Miami. I have the experience of having litigated for over four decades cases in both the state and the federal system within the state of Florida, involving a full gamut of labor employment issues, including overtime, sexual harassment, Title VII, age discrimination, retaliation, whistleblowers and every form of labor employment law.
In every employee/employer dispute, negotiation plays a big part. I have negotiated collective bargaining agreements for over three decades, and I have good negotiating skills. I am board certified by the Florida Bar in labor and employment law. That is the Florida Bar's recognition of the highest degree of competence and experience in labor and employment law. I have the unique experience of being a former city judge and a former city attorney, which gives me the experience of understanding the political nature of not only the governmental sector but the private sector as it relates to employee/employer relations.
